I want to highlight the testimony of the Parada family who live in the community near the Church. This family heard about Comunidad Cristiana Internacional (CCI) from a friend and then began listening to our services on Facebook Live.

The next step was to exchange contact information, and finally to visit them in their home.

They were eager to hear about the gospel, and then prayed to receive Christ!

Now we meet regularly for a Bible study in their home, and some of the family is attending our worship service on Sundays.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season. The aim of Ash Wednesday is threefold: to meditate on our mortality, sinfulness, and need for a savior; to renew our commitment to daily repentance in all of life; and to remember with confidence and gratitude that Jesus has conquered sin and death. Our worship today should be filled with gospel truth because it is a witness to the power and beauty of our union with Christ and to the daily dying and rising with Christ that comes with this unity.
