Theological Book Network

At Theological Book Network, we often send large shipping containers filled with around 20,000 books to seminaries and Bible colleges across the Majority World. These shipments serve many institutions at once, helping to equip leaders and pastors with the resources they need.

But sometimes, God opens the door to something more focused and deeply personal. That’s what happened recently with our newest partnership with SETECA (Central American Theological Seminary) in Guatemala.

This May, we were honored to support SETECA as they launched the first evangelical PhD program in Biblical Studies in the Spanish-speaking world.

SETECA had a clear need: a strong, specialized library to support their new doctoral program. In response, we sent a carefully curated pallet of over 1,000 post graduate theological books. Each book was selected to support PhD-level study and research, laying a strong academic foundation for the program.

This shipment represents more than just books on a shelf. It’s an investment in the future of theological education across Latin America. For the first time, students will be able to pursue a PhD in Biblical Studies in their own cultural context and native language.

And the impact doesn’t stop with SETECA. The graduates of this program will go on to teach in seminaries throughout the Spanish-speaking world. In turn, they will train pastors and ministry leaders who will take the good news of Jesus into churches, homes, and communities—impacting lives for generations to come.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this important moment and excited to see how God will continue to use these books to raise up leaders, strengthen the church, and spread the gospel across Latin America.
