Over the course of the summer we have been meeting up with individuals and inviting them to join a small Focus Group this fall to step into the role of intentional discipleship. I worked collaboratively with my pastor to pray for God to place names on our hearts, and to step out and extend the invitation.
So far we have 8 people committed to begin the training process of discipling! In this group we have mature believers who have never experienced this form of discipleship before, some have testimonies of God saving them from addictions and abuse, we have empty-nesters and singles alike all coming together this fall to step out in faith and begin walking with a small group of individuals on their own.
We are excited to see what God is doing!
