Starting this September we began our first Focus Team, training a group of 7 adults to step out next year and intentionally disciple those whom God has called them to. As I write this report, we have a few more weeks before we wrap up our training, and already we have been blessed with God’s movement in that group. This has pushed a lot of people out of their comfort zones as they prepare to share their testimony on our final meeting together on the 27th, reminding ourselves over and over that in Christ, and only in Christ, do we see hearts transform. In 2019 the goal is to have around 14 new disciples, with the emphasis of them also multiplying in the future as well.

At the same time, we have connected at least 4 new believers with a one-on-one disciple this year, teaching and showing them what it means to walk with Christ. One young lady explained that she’s never experience something like this before, and her husband has noticed a change in her at home and has asked to meet with someone as well so he can also grow in Christ. Praising God for all he is doing in the church!
