A devotional for October, 2025
Do you ever find yourself feeling overwhelmed by the present and anxious about the future? As the world and culture get more chaotic and uncertain, people are searching for peace and hope. One place we are sure to find it is in the presence of God. Isaiah 26:3 reminds us that, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” So, what if we took time each day for one month to focus on and pray about one of the attributes of God? I believe we would all find the peace we want as well as renewed hope knowing our God is in control and will never leave us. Please join me in using the “calendar” below (whatever month you choose) to focus on who God is. Each day has a suggested attribute to praise God for along with a suggested scripture passage to meditate on. As we do this, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” (Romans 15:13)
