The first quarter of 2023 has flown by and 70×7 Life Recovery is seeing fruition in projects we’ve planted, enjoyed hosting some amazing events, and we are very excited for year ahead!

70×7 has been working hard on expanding community partnerships and to develop programs to better serve the needs of our participants. We have met with a variety of groups lately to learn more about each other’s programs and to build opportunities to expand programing. This quarter, we have met with Mel Trotter, Guiding Light, West Michigan Comprehensive Treatment Center, Michigan Rehabilitative Services, Trinity Health Services, and several area churches and are finding ways to work together to best serve our population.

In March, we partnered with Together Church and Kent County Correctional Facility to host an Easter Basket Building Event! 70×7 works within KCCF with our programing. The sheriff’s department provided us with contact information for inmates’ families. These families along with our program participant families were invited to come and fill an Easter basket for each of their children with donated toys, candy, and eggs. Over 50 families and nearly 150 children received baskets and learned more about 70×7 and Together Church. Parents who attended were overwhelmed and extremely grateful for this unique event.

After years of searching options, COVID delays, and God redirecting our plans, we are extremely excited to announce 70×7 Life Recovery now does housing! We have facilities in Grand Rapids, Holland, Grand Haven and Allegan. We ask for your prayers as we begin this new endeavor, 70×7 Life Recovery Homes.
