Our classis meeting on May 16, 2013, Classis Grand Rapids South was called to announce a request for financial assistance for our sisters and brothers at Ideal Park CRC. During the recent flooding much damage was done to the lower part of Ideal Park’s building, flooded with over three feet of water. This need of $45,000 to $60,000 was presented to Classis with the request that the churches of Classis assist by taking an offering.

The members of Ideal Park are working closely with World Renew, the former CRWRC Christian Reformed World Relief, an agency specialized in relief and rebuilding work.

Each congregation is urged to take at least one offering for Ideal Park, and financial assistance0 beyond this offering would be greatly appreciated. Let us show our brotherly love by helping those among us who are in need.
