The Dock Ministries is thrilled to announce the launch of three new programs that reflect our commitment to nurturing both the practical and spiritual growth of our students, all grounded in a strong Christian worldview.

In partnership with Lake Michigan Credit Union, we have introduced Junior Achievement for middle school students. This program equips students with essential financial skills—like budgeting and saving—while also emphasizing stewardship, a value rooted in our faith. By teaching students to manage their resources wisely, we aim to instill a sense of responsibility and gratitude for the blessings God provides.

After a brief hiatus, our GEMS program has resumed, offering girls a Christ-centered environment where they can grow spiritually, build self-esteem, and develop leadership skills. Through Bible study, mentorship, and group activities, GEMS fosters a sense of belonging and helps young girls deepen their relationship with God while building lifelong friendships.

Additionally, we are preparing to launch Creation Club, a hands-on gardening program that teaches teens how to grow their own food while exploring God’s creation. Under the guidance of our new gardening manager, Brittany Gibson, students will learn sustainable gardening practices that align with our call to be stewards of the Earth. Creation Club is designed not only to address food insecurity but also to inspire awe for God’s creation and the interconnectedness of His world.

At The Dock Ministries, our faith in God is at the core of everything we do. We believe that these programs reflect His love and care for each individual, helping students develop skills for life while growing in their faith. We are grateful for the support of Classis South as we continue to serve our community with programs that embody our Christian values.
