The Vietnamese Reformed Christian Church is a lifeline for Vietnamese Christians living in West Michigan.
It was started by refugees who fled the Vietnam War, and continues as a place of refuge for first-generation immigrants and their extended families, as well as college students studying at local colleges. Here, they can worship God and pray and hear the Bible in their native language. They can connect with other Christians for whom they don’t need to translate themselves. And they can encourage each other as they adjust to life in a new country.

[/fusion_toggle][fusion_toggle title=”Worship Experience” open=”no”]The worship services are conducted in Vietnamese. Most of the singing is, as well, but there are occasional songs in English. Prayers and readings are often led by members of the congregation. Other programs and fun events (like trips to a swimming pool) for children and young people are usually held on Sundays.
