I’m Terry Hall, and I go to inSpirit Church. I’ve been going there for about 20 years. Before that, I was an atheist. My parents were atheists, too, so it took a while to get to where I’m at today.
But the neatest thing, the fantastic thing about all of this, is that when I look back, I realize God loved me. God took care of me, even though I didn’t know Him.
Fifty-seven years and never had one accident! Dinged stuff up once in a while, but no bad accidents. He saved me so many times from so many disasters, and I didn’t even know Him. I didn’t even realize it at the time.
I’m really blessed. I really look forward to going to our church and worshiping God, and worshiping alongside other people, too. Another thing is that it keeps me really motivated in my worship of God. Yes, I even did two years of Bible prophecy.
The only place I want to go is straight up. I don’t want to go anywhere else. If someone doesn’t believe there’s a God, why not worship Him? And if there isn’t one, you haven’t lost anything. But I’m going to tell you something: if you don’t worship and there is a God, certain standards are going to be a lot different. It’s going to be a lot different.
My wife’s always been a Christian. We met about 32 years ago. She’s the one who’s kind of dragged me along and got me to where I’m at. Something just kept nudging me, you know, just kept pushing me along.
I’m not a real people person, either, but I sure do love all our church people and our church family.
